[Installation](https://help.avapods.com/delivery-installation?hsLang=en#installation) # How do I assemble a pod? ## Our pods are easy to assemble, especially when you're prepared. Please see below for an overview of the process. You’ll also find a list of additional helpful resources at the bottom of this article. **1. Move your pallet to the assembly spot.** **2. Open and unbox your pallet.** Use a drill with a Phillips screwdriver bit to disassemble the packing crate. (If your pod is an Original, you’ll need a box cutter to remove the plastic wrap.) Do not use power tools to assemble the pod. The cardboard can be recycled while the crate and pallet must be discarded.  **3. Start assembling**. It takes two people up to four hours to assemble an Original or XL pod (if available, a third person can be helpful). It takes two people approximately two hours to assemble a Flex pod. The Solo pod can be assembled by two people in under two hours.   **4. If you need to move your XL, Original, Flex, or Solo V2 pod, level it.** Caster wheels make it easy to move Mamava pods short distances (learn more [here](https://help.mamava.com/how-do-i-move-a-mamava-pod?hsLang=en)).Once you move the pod**,** you’ll need to check the door alignment once it is in its final spot. Details on how to realign your pod door are provided in the assembly guide and in this [video](https://youtu.be/VIQ5IAKrikc).  Solo V1 and V1.1 pods do not have caster wheels and must be disassembled to relocate safely. **5. Download the** **[Owner’s Manual.](https://help.avapods.com/hubfs/Help%20Center/220527_Mamava%20Owners%20Manual.pdf?hsLang=en)** You’ll find a handout in the bag with your pod’s hardware that has a link to download the Owner's Manual and the assembly instructions. If you’re not the person who will be responsible for maintaining the pod, please pass this info along to the person who is. **6. Snap a picture of your new pod.** Orient your phone horizontally, back up about 15’ and capture a stunning shot(s), head-on. Send it to [customersuccess@avapods.com](mailto:customersuccess@avapods.com) so we can add it to our free app that helps breastfeeding parents find lactation spaces. **7. Let us know it’s set up.** Email [fulfillment@avapods.com](mailto:fulfillment@avapods.com) to let us know your pod is fully assembled. **8.
